What is the best career advice you’ve received? To stay level headed, no matter how far and how high you get with your work.
What is some career advice you would give? I would say be open minded about critiques from peers and always ask questions, that is the only way you will know how to make yourself better.
What do you want people to remember you by? My dedication, hard work, and attention to detail.
What do you love about being Latinx? The fact that I am able to go back in history thousands of years and realize that my culture/roots have always been surrounded by art, It’s just so inspirational to what I do.
What do you think are the biggest obstacles Latinx face and how can they overcome those? Think this is a hard question to answer. I think it depends if we are speaking in terms of Latinos living in our individual countries, or as Latino living in America. I will tackle to answer as a Latino living in the U.S. I feel that because we are considered to be “minority” in this country we are are not expected to be as successful in many areas as groups. I feel we shine regardless and we embrace one another within our community. All we can do is keep striving for our individual dreams, work hard and prove others wrong.
